Scouting report

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Travis Kelce continues to secure a solid amount of catches each week (32 catches over the last five weeks) but his touchdown drought is now at six weeks. Kelce should grab a few catches Wednesday against the Steelers (11th against tight ends) but the Chiefs have gotten their wide receivers more involved in the offense as well as fellow tight end Noah Gray. Kelce isn't a surefire fantasy option but he does still provide starting tight end value in PPR league with his usage

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16vs. Houston Texans

It was an overall quiet day for the Chiefs offense and that included Travis Kelce. Despite seeing eight targets, Kelce finished with just 27 yards on four catches. He is without a touchdown since Week 11. That could change this week as Houston ranks 22nd against tight ends in fantasy. Jonnu Smith had nine catches and a touchdown last week. That, hopefully, is a sign of things to come for Kelce in Week 16.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Cleveland Browns

Travis Kelce secured 5-of-6 targets last week for 45 yards but remains without a touchdown since Week 10, though that can be chalked up to Noah Gray being used more in the offense. He gets the Browns this week, a team that tight ends have done well against this season. The Browns rank 25th in fantasy points allowed to the position. Kelce is on a nice roll with 18 catches over the last three weeks. Look for that trend to continue. Kelce is a top-5 option this week.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Travis Kelce is back on a bit of a roll after defenses took him out of sync for a couple of weeks. He has back-to-back games with at least 60 receiving yards and was targeted 13 times last week against the Raiders. After starting the season on a quiet note, his breakout game came in Week 4 against the Chargers -- 7 catches, 89 yards. The Chargers have only allowed one touchdown all season to tight ends. As long as Kelce continues to get a healthy amount of targets, he'll remain one of the top fantasy options at the position.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Travis Kelce has received extra attention from defenses lately. As a result, Noah Gray has come away with four touchdowns in the last two games. Kelce did see eight targets against the Panthers and came away with six catches for 62 yards. He gets the Raiders this week. In Week 8, Kelce caught 10 passes for 90 yards and one touchdown. Look for Kelce to bounce back against a Raiders team that ranks 28th against tight ends in fantasy.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Carolina Panthers

With Taylor Swift in Toronto, not too far from Buffalo, Travis Kelce basically put up a "Blank Space" in the fantasy column last week against the Bills. He had just eight yards on two catches. Noah Gray, on the other hand, had two touchdowns, as Buffalo did a nice job eliminating Kelce from the equation and daring other receivers to beat them. Carolina will have a tough time duplicating that feat. They rank 28th in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Kelce should be able to "Shake It Off" and be right back among the top weekly finishers in Week 12.

KC TE Travis Kelce - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Buffalo Bills

The connection between Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes is back intact after a slow start to the season. Kelce had eight catches for 64 yards and a touchdown last week against the Broncos. He has touchdowns in two of his last three games and has been targeted 40 times in that stretch. Continue to roll with Kelce heading into a huge Week 11 game against the Bills, who rank 12th in points per game allowed to tight ends.
