LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at New England Patriots

The Rams are in a great spot offensively when both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are healthy. Add in the healthy offensive line, and they have the potential for big weeks. Unfortunately for Kupp, when both he and Nacua are healthy, it looks like Nacua is more of the 1A and Kupp is the 1B. Nacua had 14 targets last week to Kupp's 7, but I wouldn't count on him doubling him up every week.

The Patriots are 16th aFPA against receivers this season, so it isn't a terrible matchup for the Rams passing game. Kupp is more likely to avoid Christian Gonzalez in the slot, but he'll see some of him. Whoever avoids Gonzalez more between him and Nacua will likely have the bigger game. Either way, Kupp is a WR1 this week and a must-start.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins

Cooper Kupp was the alpha again last week after Puka Nacua was ejected for punching a defensive player. He saw 14 targets and had 11 catches for 104 yards. This is the type of efficiency we come to expect when Nacua is out and Kupp is solo.

The Dolphins are 7th aFPA against wide receivers so this is a bit of a tougher matchup for the Rams passing game. However, Kupp is still projecting out as WR5 on the week and is a must-start in all formats.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Seattle Seahawks

Surprisingly, it was Cooper Kupp who looked like he had been out since Week 1, but the combination of Kupp and Puka Nacua back helped the Rams take down the Vikings. Kupp returned to the starting lineup and put up 5 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown in his return.

With Nacua questionable, but likely to play, Kupp should be in a great spot against a Seattle defense that has been 22nd aFPA against receivers so far this season. Kupp is a WR1 and locked into your lineup.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Welcome back, Cooper Kupp. There was a chance he was back last week, but the Rams held him out and had him back for Thursday's matchup against the Vikings. It's been a whirlwind week for Kupp, not just because he's returning from injury, but all the trade rumors swirling around him (and Matthew Stafford). He's made it clear it won't be a distraction and will play his best for the Rams. I don't know how much that is ultimately worth, but the role is fantastic as long as he is in Los Angeles and remains the main pass-catcher. He's a high-end WR2 in a great matchup against a vulnerable Vikings secondary.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

While Cooper Kupp is still questionable, it's important to remember the role he had without Puka Nacua early in the season. Coming off the bye, we are expecting Kupp to be seeing his usual route compliment if he is back.

The Raiders are a great matchup, 20th aFPA against wide receivers, and that is an ideal matchup for Kupp to return against. Kupp is a mid-end WR2 this week and is a must-start if he is healthy.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Arizona Cardinals

Last week was a blast from the not-so-distant past as we saw Cooper Kupp 21(!!) targets with Puka Nacua missing most of the game against Detroit. Kupp finished with 110 yards and a touchdown and also received two carries for 10 yards. Even with better options than, say 2022, it looks like until Nacua returns we should be expecting prime Cooper Kupp back.

The matchup against Arizona isn't imposing at all and he should be a top 5 wide receiver weekly until Nacua returns. Enjoy the ride and hopefully it lasts as he's a locked in WR1 every week until further notice.

LAR WR Cooper Kupp - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 @ Detroit Lions

Finally, after two injury plagued seasons, it appears Cooper Kupp is healthy heading into the season. While he will still be fighting Puka Nacua for WR1 in the Rams offense, he's in a great matchup against Detroit this weekend so it may not even matter.

With the Lions pass funnel on tap Sunday night, and Kupp as healthy as he's been in years, we're turning back the clocks to see Kupp as a WR1 this week. He should be started confidently in all formats in the prime matchup of the week.
