Scouting report

CAR WR Terrace Marshall - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Seattle Seahawks

Terrace Marshall Jr. had one catch for eight yards against the Broncos before the bye last week. The Panthers don’t have the kind of offense you can expect to sustain multiple receiving options in most fantasy leagues, so leave Marshall on the bench for the time being, especially against a tough Seattle secondary.

CAR WR Terrace Marshall - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Baltimore Ravens

After 15 targets in his previous two outings combined, Terrace Marshall Jr. was held to just one catch on two targets against the Falcons. Even though it happened to be a big gain – 43 yards – that kind of volume isn’t what fantasy managers are looking for. Game script is likely to favor the passing game for the Panthers, but Marshall is simply too risky to trust in fantasy lineups. He remains a deep-league stash option at best.

CAR WR Terrace Marshall - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Terrace Marshall Jr. had three catches for 53 yards and a garbage-time touchdown last week in a lopsided loss to the Bengals. Marshall has 15 targets over his past two games combined, so the former LSU standout is showing flashes of the immense talent that made him a second-round pick just a year and a half ago. This week, Marshall has some deep streaming upside as a WR3 option. The Falcons rank dead last in aFPA to opposing wide receivers and fantasy managers needing a hope and a prayer can look to Marshall for a reasonable floor. He has at least five PPR points in each of his past three games.

CAR WR Terrace Marshall - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Cincinnati Bengals

Terrace Marshall Jr. has had a difficult start to his young career, but with Robbie Anderson now in Arizona and P.J. Walker behind center, he’s starting to show signs of life. He had nine targets last week against the Falcons, catching four balls for 87 yards. Marshall is a long way from being trustworthy in fantasy, but he’s worth a speculative addition to deeper fantasy rosters with a need at wide receiver. Don’t start him until we see those targets on a more consistent basis, however.

CAR WR Terrace Marshall - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Dallas Cowboys

Terrace Marshall Jr. had four catches for 48 yards and actually has three more targets this season than Robby Anderson. It’s too early to trust him in lineups, but take a look and see if he’s still on your waiver wire, because it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that he continues to outproduce Anderson.
