LV RB Alexander Mattison - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New Orleans Saints

The revolving running backdoor continues with Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah being featured this week. We have him projected as our RB30 with Abdullah one spot behind him.

He earned seven targets last week but only managed 56 yards from scrimmage on his 16 touches. Mattison did find the end zone, which helped buoy his day.

Week 16 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

The running-back hot potato continues in Las Vegas this week with Alexander Mattison back in the mix. It's hard to tell what the split between Mattison and Ameer Abdullah might be.

Mattison hasn't had more than 10 touches since before Halloween, so we aren't quite sure what to expect here. We have him as RB30, four spots ahead of backfield-mate Abdullah.

LV RB Alexander Mattison - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Miami Dolphins

Alexander Mattison is our RB27 this week. He gets a tough matchup against a Dolphins defense that hasn't allowed a 15+ PPR Point performance from an opposing RB since Week 5.

You can use him as your flex if necessary, but he has only gained 70 yards from scrimmage once this season. Mattison also hasn't found the end zone in about a month.

Week 9 at Cincinnati Bengals

Alexander Mattison is our RB27 this week as the Raiders head to Cincinnati. The Bengals have allowed five of eight opposing running backs to clear 15 PPR Points this season.

He's a solid flex option again this week. He's had at least 17 touches in each of the past four games. His efficiency has been all over the map, but we'll take that type of volume from our flex position.

Week 8 vs Kansas City Chiefs

Alexander Mattison comes in as our RB30 this week.

He gets a tough matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs this week. The Chiefs haven't allowed an opposing running back to crack 15 PPR points this season. Mattison and this Raiders offense doesn't seem poised to do so. If necessary, he's a flex option, but hopefully, better options are available on your roster.

Week 7 at Los Angeles Rams

Alexander Mattison is coming off of a game where he saw 19 opportunities. He only managed 65 yards with that workload but did manage to find the end zone. It's Mattison's job until further notice so we'll see if he can crank up the efficiency at some point.

At RB27, he should be in your lineup as a flex or a low-end RB2.

Week 6 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Alexander Mattison looks like he'll get most of the work on Sunday with Zamir White missing practice again. There's some hope he'll try to practice on Friday, but that remains to be seen.

Either way, Mattison has been involved throughout the year. Over the last two weeks, he has been given 48% of the carries and 40% of the running back receptions in that span. He's in flex territory at RB27.
