TB QB Baker Mayfield - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Carolina Panthers

With the Buccaneers trailing most of the game, Baker Mayfield had to sling the ball more often. As a result, he went 31-of-43 for 303 yards and two touchdowns in a losing effort. Now, the Buccaneers find themselves chasing the Falcons in the NFC South and needing a win over the Panthers. Mayfield had some success in the first meeting, throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown but did have two interceptions. In fact, Mayfield has thrown an interception in four straight games. Still, he has been putting up servicable fantasy days that make him worthy of being a starter for championship week.

TB QB Baker Mayfield - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Dallas Cowboys

Baker Mayfield flat out embarrassed the Los Angeles Chargers last week, throwing for 288 yards and four touchdowns. He now has seven touchdowns in his last two games and he gets the Cowboys this week. We've seen how susceptible the Cowboys have been against the pass. Quarterbacks have thrived in fantasy this season against Dallas. The Cowboys rank 29th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. Mayfield is in a groove and has the Buccaneers in the driver's seat for yet another NFC South crown. We have Mayfield as a top-five option this week.

TB QB Baker Mayfield - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Los Angeles Chargers

Baker Mayfield is coming off another solid performance, throwing for 295 yards and three touchdowns against the Raiders, though he did throw two interceptions and fumbled once. This week, he gets the Chargers, a team that ranks 9th against opposing fantasy quarterbacks and held Patrick Mahomes to just 210 passing yards last week. The numbers will be there for Mayfield but the turnovers are a bit of an issue lately. Mayfield checks in as a solid QB2 with QB1 upside.

Week 14 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Baker Mayfield was spotted in a walking boot after Sunday's game against the Panthers. He is listed with injuries to his Achilles and knee but did practice in full on Wednesday and Thursday, so he is likely trending toward playing Sunday against the Raiders. Vegas ranks 21st in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks and just allowed 306 yards to Patrick Mahomes on Black Friday, though they did sack him five times. Overall, it's a favorable matchup for Mayfield. He may be listed as questionable, but he should be good to go.

Week 13 at Carolina Panthers

The Giants' defense, plus a healthy Mike Evans, was just what the doctor ordered for Baker Mayfield. His 294 yards (on 24-of-30 passing) were his most since Week 8, though he did have his first game without a passing touchdown. He did make up for it by scoring a touchdown on the ground. Mayfield gets the Panthers this week, a team that allowed three passing touchdowns to Patrick Mahomes last week and ranks 29th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. Mayfield has thrown ten touchdown passes in three division games this season.

Week 12 at New York Giants

Baker Mayfield went into the bye week on a sour note, throwing for just 116 yards in Week 10 against the 49ers. The good news is that Mike Evans looks like he'll be returning to the lineup, a much-needed boost to the offense. He gets the Giants this week, a team only allowing 184.2 passing yards per game, which ranks 4th in the league. But with Evans coming back, it's fair to think the offense will get back into being a steady unit. Mayfield is still a low-end QB1 option, especially in a week where six teams are on a bye.

Week 10 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Bakery Mayfield has done all he can to keep the offense afloat while Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are out. In Week 9 against the Chiefs, he went for 200 yards on 23-of-31 passing with two touchdowns. Mayfield was dealing with a toe injury but was not given an injury designation. He gets the 49ers this week who have been up and down this year against the pass. Mayfield can still be considered a QB1 given the effectiveness of Tampa's offense,
