Fantasy Impact:

Big blow to the Lions here. As we stated earlier today when we speculated Monty may be out for a while at the least, Gibbs will take over as the team's RB1. Last year, Reynolds got between 7-14 carries in three of the four games he played when either Gibbs or Montgomery were out. Reynolds should have some flex value, at least, and would be worth a pickup if he's on your wire and you're looking for any help at RB.

Week 15 vs. Buffalo Bills
The goal-line-god himself, David Montgomery is now up to 12 rushing touchdowns on the season, negating any work he loses to backfield-mate Jahmyr Gibbs. With the Bills ranking 23rd in RB aFPA, there aren't many reasons to fade Montgomery in the first round of the Fantasy Playoffs. Consider him an RB2 with upside for more.
