Week 13 vs. Seattle Seahawks
As of Friday morning, the Rams have yet to name their starter for Week 13. Bryce Perkins seems to be the early favorite to start so what can we expect from him this week? In Week 12 in his first career start, Perkins did flash some of his dual-threat capabilities. Perkins completed 13 of 23 passes for 100 yards and passed for one touchdown while rushing for 44 yards on the ground. That performance doesn’t seem like much, but playing without the Rams’ two top wide receivers, and a banged-up offensive line, it was a solid showing from Perkins.
This week Perkins could be viewed as a desperation two-QB league/Superflex start vs. the Seattle Seahawks. This season the Seahawks have allowed decent rushing performances to mobile quarterbacks. Kyler Murray has rushed for 160 yards in two games vs. Seattle in 2022. Is Perkins an auto-start no, but if you need a desperation two QB league/Superflex plug-in-play, you could do worse than Perkins in Week 13.
