Scouting report

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Seattle Seahawks
What a rollercoaster Kyle Pitts' year (and career) has already been. A week after goose-egging, he delivered a 7-88-0 game on eight targets and a 3-70-0 line on five targets. It was his third double-digit fantasy performance of the year, to pair with his three games under 7.0 points. This is definitely a good matchup for the tight end position, and Pitts *should* be in a good spot to keep the good times rolling.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 @ Carolina Panthers
What a rollercoaster Kyle Pitts' year (and career) has already been. A week after goose-egging, he delivered a 7-88-0 game on eight targets, and there's a good chance many managers had benched him. It was his second double-digit fantasy performance of the year, to pair with his three games under 7.0 points. This is definitely a good matchup for the tight end position, but who could honestly say what happens here? He *should* be a perfectly serviceable TE1 in Week 6.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Kyle Pitts finally broke 50 yards two weeks ago thanks to, well, a 50-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter. It was a great glimpse into his upside, but it was one of only two receptions, with the other one coming in the fourth quarter. He followed this performance up with zero catches on three targets, proving to be a low-ceiling, low-floor avoid (in hindsight). The bump we were expecting from Kirk Cousins hasn't come yet, but with the way the tight end landscape is, it's going to be very difficult to bench him outright. Just have to pray for a couple of big plays to hit in the same game.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. New Orleans Saints
Kyle Pitts finally broke 50 yards last week thanks to, well, a 50-yard catch-and-run in the second quarter. It was a great glimpse into his upside, but it was one of only two receptions, with the other one coming in the fourth quarter. The bump we were expecting from Kirk Cousins hasn't come yet, but with the way the tight end landscape is, there's no way we're benching him. Just have to pray for a couple of big plays to hit in the same game.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Kyle Pitts put up a stinker in Week 2 (3-20-0) after a promising Week 1 (3-26-1), but these are the ebbs and flows of the position. While we would typically pinpoint this kind of matchup as a potential shootout, the Chiefs are dealing with some injuries to skill position players while the Falcons look like they're trying to slow the game down until Kirk Cousins can unleash the deep ball with more accuracy. Pitts should still be locked in as a TE1.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 @ Philadelphia Eagles
There's not a lot to be negative about in reference to Kyle Pitts in 2024, even if fantasy drafters are none-too-excited about his output these last two seasons. Cousins has a history of targeting the position heavily, the new Falcons OC is all but guaranteed to instill a more robust passing attack than the previous regime, and Pitts profiles as the No. 2 receiving option on an offense that should look much better than in 2022-23. Though his Week 1 stat line was lacking, he did find the end zone, and is a very serious threat to do that in most weeks.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
He had a small injury scare earlier in the week, but he's worth a locked-in start to begin the year.
