Scouting report

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Arizona Cardinals

Kyle Pitts reached 50 yards for only the second time this season and the first time since Week 5. However, he still only has the one touchdown this season and watched as Jonnu Smith scored on a screen from about 60 yards out. As long as Smith is going to keep being a part of the offense, Pitts’ fantasy potential will be capped. He remains a TE2 with upside.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Kyle Pitts has seen just 16 targets over the last three games following his 11-target day in Week 5. However, Pitts may see more targets this week as Atlanta could be without Drake London, who is dealing with a groin injury. Pitts may be the de facto No. 1 receiver this week against Minnesota, giving Taylor Heinicke a nice safety valve. Pitts is a top-10 option this week.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Tennessee Titans

He may not have had as strong of a fantasy performance as his previous two weeks, but Kyle Pitts is still at least being involved in the offense, seeing four targets and reaching 40 yards again. With Jonnu Smith continuing to also be involved in the offense, Pitts is called a bit, but always has the potential to break one. He’s a borderline TE1 with weekly upside.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Kyle Pitts finally scored his first touchdown of the season and still a part of the Atlanta offense. However, Jonnu Smith has made his way into the mix and the Falcons now have two fantasy-worthy tight ends. Pitts has been a little more involved of late as the offense started showing some signs of life last week. With six teams on a bye, Pitts remained a low-end TE1 for the week against the Buccaneers.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Washington Commanders

Now there’s the Kyle Pitts we’ve been waiting for. 87 yards on seven catches feels like his best performance in forever. He even saw 11 targets. The best part is that this momentum can carry over into Week 6 because Pitts is facing a Washington defense that hasn’t been all that great this season. Maybe this is the week Pitts finally gets into the end zone.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Houston Texans

You're understandably very frustrated with Kyle Pitts. Another season of hope is turning into another season of major disappointment. Week 4 marked Pitts' third game recording just two catches and he has yet to hit 50 yards in a game. He's at 11 catches for 121 yards on the season. It doesn't help that QB Desmond Ridder is becoming a bigger question mark than he was coming into the season and the Falcons really don't have any other outside options besides Drake London. Not only that, Pitts may even be starting to lose work to Jonnu Smith, further complicating fantasy matters. The Falcons also face a Texans team that has been pretty good against opposing tight ends, so this could be another downer of a week for the former No. 4 overall draft pick.

ATL TE Kyle Pitts - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)

Pitts more than doubled his catch total in Week 3, grabbing five receptions against the Lions. The Falcons were playing from behind most of the second half and Atlanta had to get away from the run. But maybe quarterback Desmond Ridder also remembered that Pitts can be a valuable asset in this offense. Hopefully the long flight to London doesn’t cause him to forget again. Pitts is still in the TE1 tier.
