IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Tennessee Titans

While Anthony Richardson's passing performances continue to leave a lot to be desired, his legs have been helping his fantasy owners. Richardson now has four rushing touchdowns in his last four games with at least 40 rushing yards in three straight and five of his last six games played. He gets the Titans this week who continue to quietly have a solid defense, even if their 3-11 record doesn't show it. Tennessee is allowing the 3rd-fewest passing yards in the league (182.2 per game). Richardson didn't play in Week 6 against the Titans, but for reference, Joe Flacco was held to just 189 passing yards. But thanks to his rushing value, Richardson is a borderline starter in fantasy this week.

IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Denver Broncos

Anthony Richardson's rushing value certainly helps his overall stock because his passing value still isn't quite there. Richardson went into his bye week with two games under 200 passing yards, including just 103 in Week 13 against the Patriots, though he did lead a game-winning drive. The Colts face what almost amounts to a playoff game against the Broncos. A loss would all but eliminate the Colts. It's an uphill climb for Richardson as the Broncos have been one of the top defenses this season and have only allowed 17 passing touchdowns. With the rushing, Richardson still slots as a solid QB2 but his passing limits his ceiling.

IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New England Patriots

The Lions are one of the toughest defenses in the league, so it's not very surprising Anthony Richardson struggled last week. But boy, did he struggle. He went just 11-of-28 passing. That's under 40 percent. Richardson hasn't thrown multiple touchdown passes since Week 1. The good news is he has a chance against one of the worst defenses in New England, who are allowing almost 20 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. If there is a week for Richardson to get himself on the right track, offensively, it's this week. But with the playoffs looming, are you willing to take that chance?

IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Detroit Lions

In his first game back after riding the bench for two weeks, Anthony Richardson went 20-of-30 for a season-high 272 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for two touchdowns. He did lose a fumble. He now goes from the Jets' defense to the Lions' defense, a much steeper mountain to climb. The Lions are allowing just 13.1 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Richardson's legs give him more fantasy value, but still consider him a QB2 option with upside this week.

IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at New York Jets

After being benched and watching Joe Flacco the last two weeks, Anthony Richardson is back as the starting quarterback for the Colts. We know he has struggled in the passing game, but also knew he would be a project from the day he was drafted. Head coach Shane Steichen says Richardson has made strides over the last few weeks to earn back the starting role -- it also helped that Flacco struggled heavily the last two weeks. Richardson faces the Jets this week. New York has been very up and down on defense, which has been very surprising to see. Expect the Colts to focus on the ground game with Jonathan Taylor. Richardson is a deeper option this week.

IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Houston Texans

Anthony Richardson may have been coming off an oblique injury but it was another down passing performance for the former No. 4 overall pick. Richardson went 10-of-24 for 129 yards and had a fumble last week against the Dolphins. On the flip side, he rushed 14 times for 56 yards. The good news is he faces the Texans this week. In Week 1 against Houston, Richardson has his best outing of the season with 212 yards and two touchdowns. Even at that, Richardson was only 9-of-19 passing. Richardson remains a QB2 until he shows his passing can improve.

IND QB Anthony Richardson - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Miami Dolphins

Anthony Richardson was a bit of a surprise inactive last week against the Titans. He should be back this week against the Dolphins, who do provide a tough matchup this week for Richardson and the Colts. Miami is allowing the third-fewest passing yards per game. Richardson still provides upside in the running game. He's a borderline QB1 this week thanks to that but his passing game still needs to improve and he's missed the last two games.
