The Buccaneers have placed RB Charles Sims on injured reserve.

Fantasy Impact:

Sims was expected to play a role in the passing game for Tampa Bay. His absence will free up opportunities for the rest of the backfield to catch passes. Given the struggles for rookie Ronald Jones in that area, it is likely that much of that work will go to Peyton Barber. Barber is coming off the board outside of the top 40 running backs in drafts, making him an appetizing later round target.
