Mike Tomlin said that Jaylen Warren was a full participant today and is “on the upswing.”

The coach feels “optimistic about his inclusion” and will list the RB as questionable.

Fantasy Impact:

If Warren is available, it will come at a massive detriment to Harris' fantasy outlook, as the latter as looked like his typical, inefficient self. Warren could be a tough click in his first week back, but he also lowers Harris to an RB3 if they both play.

PIT RB Jaylen Warren - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Well, we finally saw Jaylen Warren have the lead role in the Steelers backfield, but it was largely in a trailing game script that saw Najee Harris take a back seat. Warren has been more efficient all season, but finally, that combined with the workload. It is possible this is more of a Warren game against Kansas City.

Warren's efficiency over Harris will be helpful, as the Chiefs are first in aFPA against running backs. Warren's role in the passing game should give him a higher floor than Harris while also allowing him to access a higher ceiling if the groundwork or touchdowns go his way. Warren is. a back-end RB3/flex play, but I'd prefer him over Harris and a few other backs in his range.
