TEN WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Make that seven games out of eight with a touchdown for Nick Westbrook-Ikhine after his two-touchdown day against the Commanders. Westbrook-Ikhine is one of just five players with eight touchdown catches this season. Four of them have at least 50 catches. Westbrook-Ikhine has 20. So think about it this way, if he gets a catch, he has an almost 50% chance of turning that catch into a touchdown. That may very well happen again this week. Jacksonville has allowed 24 passing touchdowns in 12 games. If that trend continues and they allow a pair this week, chances are Westbrook-Ikhine will get one of them.

TEN WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Washington Commanders

That's touchdowns in six of the last seven weeks for Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, though he has surpassed 50 yards in just one of those games. He's on a nice touchdown streak, but you're hoping for that touchdown to make a good fantasy day. In that same stretch of games, he has caught more than three passes in a game just once. Westbrook-Ikhine is a deep flex play against Washington, who have allowed 19 passing touchdowns, tied for 9th most in the league.

TEN WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Houston Texans

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine had the 98-yard touchdown against the Vikings. He only had one other catch for 19 yards. He did get the touchdown, marking scores in five of his last six games. Houston has allowed 22 passing touchdowns. NWI needs to add to that total to help salvage a solid fantasy day. Consider him a deep flex play.

TEN WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Los Angeles Chargers

Calvin Ridley is the clear WR1 for the Titans but Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has quietly scored in four straight games. He's coming off his best game of the season with five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. That said, there's also this note (H/T ESPN): that was NWI's first 50-yard game since Week 10 of the 2022 season. He does have a chance to build on last week now that he's the clear WR2 for quarterback Will Levis. He's a very deep flex option against the Chargers' 11th-ranked pass defense.

TEN WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is set for a larger workload than normal against the Jaguars with emerging rookie Treylon Burks in concussion protocol after taking a hard shot on a touchdown last week. Even so, Westbrook-Ikhine has only finished as a legitimate fantasy starter in one game this season when he caught two touchdowns in Week 10. The Titans are sure to try to feed Derrick Henry as much as possible this week, meaning Westbrook-Ikhine will have a low floor despite Burks' likely absence. He is nothing more than a desperation, volume-based play and should be avoided as a starting option.

TEN WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine looks poised for the secondary receiving role in Tennessee with A.J. Brown on IR and Julio Jones set to return from his own injury-related absence. Unfortunately, the secondary receiving role in Tennessee isn't particularly valuable when the team is so dependent on the run game and QB Ryan Tannehill has been inconsistent all season. Westbrook-Ikhine is a decent option if you're desperate for a flex play, but most managers can find a better option this week and should leave him on the bench as insurance for Jones and Brown.
