The Miami Dolphins are re-signing WR Preston Williams to a one-year deal.

Fantasy Impact:

Since a breakout stretch in 2019, Williams has dealt with injuries and inconsistencies. He will be depth for Miami and waiver wire fodder unless injuries run through the wide receiver room.

MIA WR Preston Williams - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Preston Williams seemingly took over DeVante Parker's role as Parker sat out last week. Parker hasn't been practicing this week, either, so there's a strong chance he sits out again. Williams finished 3-60 last week on five targets and even had a rushing attempt for seven yards. It's a very Parkeresque stat line with low reception and high yardage numbers. Williams himself has been limited with a groin injury this week, so that should be monitored. But even if he plays, Williams isn't a strong fantasy option. He's not much more than a WR5 in Week 6 vs. the Jaguars.
