UFC Paris Gane vs Tuivasa: 2 Props to Target at Prize Picks
The UFC returns with a Fight Night card that will take place in Paris, France. A number of fights have fallen off this card, leaving the UFC with a number of debut fighters and short-notice replacements. Limiting wild cards and unknown commodities from our lines, we will look to target two fighters with track records we can count on.
Charles Jourdain over 70.5 significant strikes.
This one is easy; Jourdain comes forward with an aggressive nonstop attack as long as he is on his feet. In his last fight versus Shane Burgos, Jourdain managed to land over 100 significant strikes while being controlled by Burgos for large portions of the fight. Jourdain has topped this number in four of his last five fights, with the lone under coming against Lando Vannata, a fight in which he landed an early submission finish.
Stephanie Egger over 2 takedowns.
Egger enters this fight after an early submission loss to Mayra Bueno Silva. In that fight, Egger got the takedown but was submitted early via armbar. Egger has a judo background and will look to get the fight into clinch situations where she has completed six takedowns in four fights. Her opponent, Ailin Perez, is making her UFC debut and will be the smaller woman in the fight. Perez should be a willing participant in grappling exchanges which will allow Egger the opportunity to hit the over in this matchup.
