3 NFL Draft Prop First Round Specials: Picks by Conference
On Draftkings Sportsbook you can bet on how many players are drafted in the first round by school. This will delve into the best values available on those props.
Big 12 Players Drafted in the First Round: Over 3.5 (+137)
Unlike the Big 10 with 14 schools, the Big 12 only has 10. There are some prestigious names on this list, but not many first-round prospects are from these schools. Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb and Kenneth Murray are safe bets for Round 1, but then we get to fringe first-rounders in Baylor WR Denzel Mims and TCU WR Jaelon Reagor and CB Jeff Gladney. The Big 12 has only three other players commonly mocked in Round 2 in Ross Blacklock, Lucas Niang, and Jalen Hurts, but all of whom are long shots for Round 1. In order for this bet to go over, you need two of Jaelen Reagor, Jeff Gladney, and Denzel Mims to go in the first round. As things stand right now, Mims is -167 to go in Round 1, Gladey is -121, and Reagor is +108, making this a true toss-up situation. Typically, toss-up situations are stay-aways, but at +137 we are getting odds as if it's a 42.8% outcome when it's closer to 50/50. Going over is worth 0.5 units
ACC Players Drafted in the First Round: Under 3.5 (-225)
The ACC has 13 total schools in football. It's important to note that while Notre Dame plays half of their schedule versus the ACC, they are still defined as a football independent. While there may be 13 schools, this may as well be a Clemson bet. There are two locks in Clemson linebacker Isaiah Simmons and Louisville offensive tackle Mekhi Becton and two fringe first-rounders in Clemson's Tee Higgins and A.J. Terrell. The next closet prospect per NFL Mock Draft database consensus big board is Virginia corner Bryce Hall at 63. While DraftKings doesn’t have the ability to bet on how many players go from Clemson, other Sportsbooks have set the line at 2.5 with the over being +225 and the under set at -310. For the same bet here we get the under at -225, which is an excellent number and worth putting 1.125 units to win half a unit on.

Big 10 Players Drafted in the First Round: Under 5.5 (+118)
While there are 14 schools in the Big 10, only a few have potential first-round picks in Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, Minnesota and Iowa. There are three Big 10 players locked in the top 10 in Ohio State's Chase Young and Jeffrey Okudah, and Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs. From there, A.J. Espensa, Yetur Gross-Matos, Jonathan Taylor, Zach Baun, Cesar Ruiz, Damon Arnette, and Antoine Winfield have a shot at going in Round 1. Pass rusher A.J. Espensa is -200 to go in Round 1, Yetur Gross Matos has an o/u of 26.5 and is favored to go before Espana, while Zach Baun is -117 to go Round 1, but just had a diluted sample at the combine. Cesar Ruiz is widely considered the best interior offensive lineman in the draft and is -167 to go in Round 1 while Taylor, Winfield, and Arnette are all on the outside looking in. In order to hit this bet, you three of Gross-Matos, Zach Baun, Cesar Ruiz, and A.J. Espensa to go in Round 1 which seems like playing with fire as they are all fringe first-round picks. I lean the under, but ultimately think this is a stay away.
