Streaming Quarterbacks: Week 13 Targets

We’re a short time away from the playoffs, so managing our squads will become critical for those angling for a championship run. I’d recommend looking at our hotspots tool and stash quarterbacks with favorable matchups during your playoff weeks. I’ve got a couple of recommendations at the end, but let’s review last week and get into the streaming options for Week 13.

Week 12 Results

Overall, it was a rough outing for the streamers in Week 12. Roethlisberger was the only real anchor to anyone’s fantasy hopes, but let’s review last week’s options from a process perspective.

I still don’t think there was enough to overturn Logan Thomas’ touchdown catch, which would’ve boosted Heinicke’s results. Regardless, it’s essential to look at the matchup from what we knew going into the game. Washington was at home, and Seattle was allowing 15.7 fantasy PPG over their previous four games. Plus, Washington ran 77 plays on Monday night but handed the ball off in the red zone on their only other score. It’s hard to square the results but harder to see which other options would’ve been better plays.

Trevor Lawrence (17.0 points) and Teddy Bridgewater (16.2) finished in the Top 12 last week, and neither made last week’s list. A rushing touchdown saved Bridgewater’s day, and it was Lawrence’s first outing over 200 yards since Week 8. Week-to-week volatility can be both a gift and a curse, and I try to minimize it each week by looking at short and long-term trends as reasons for recommending players. Week 13 has a bit more appeal than last week, so let’s dive into the upcoming slate.
