FanDuel Week 9 Cash Game Picks and Strategy
In this space each week will be the top cash plays on FanDuel with strategies on how to build a profitable cash lineup. The backbone of 4for4’s cash game approach is our proprietary value metric, which goes beyond simple point per dollar projections. That value calculation extends to a player’s odds of hitting cash game value based on their implied volatility according to their floor, median and ceiling projections.

Quarterbacks
The Week 9 main slate feels quite different from previous week’s main slate for a number of reasons, but arguably the biggest shift is the clear values available at quarterback. In recent weeks, this section has focused much of its attention on the premium salary signal-callers, arguing that the top-five(ish) quarterbacks in most of this season’s main slates offered a combination of high-floor and high-ceiling such that moving away from the tier seemed suboptimal.
We’ve had multiple weeks this season with more than one top-five (in salary) quarterback listed as multi-touchdown favorites, obvious smash spots, creating a situation where, when you include the rushing quarterback, the $7,700-plus tier of quarterbacks had three to five players with near-equal opportunity of being the top fantasy producer. Moving below that tier meant, essentially, giving-up fantasy points. Week 9, however, offers a bit more clarity at the position, with the 4for4 value metric identifying clear standouts in each of the salary tiers.
