Betting NFL season-long futures can be a tricky balance. Some of the lines move dramatically over the course of the off-season, providing opportunities for significant CLV in some markets. But the earlier you bet, the longer the money is tied up for. Fortunately, I only bet on the NFL. I spend the off-season studying and building a futures portfolio I feel comfortable taking with me into the season, and have a dedicated bankroll set aside. So I start my bets early.
