Week 4 IDP Waiver Wire: Pickups & Targets (Fantasy Football 2023)
Week 3 wasn't kind because of injuries. There will be a few key names to monitor throughout the week, as we head into Week 4. Frankie Luvu left early with a hip injury, De'Vondre Campbell suffered an ankle injury, and Josey Jewell was dealt a groin injury.
These are weekly starters you'll need to keep an eye on. There are a few LB rotations you may want to consider getting away from, namely the Cleveland Browns' linebackers. If you're looking to unload some dead weight, here are some options to consider from your IDP waiver wire for Week 4.

Linebacker
David Long, LB, Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins put a colossal beatdown on the Broncos in Week 3. The starters were able to get a bit of a rest and their snaps were limited. With Jaelan Phillips active, Andrew Van Ginkel continued to play most of his snaps on the edge. David Long ended up out-snapping him, though, and saw more snaps at off-ball LB.
Long’s usage spiked to 84% of the snaps with Phillips out and him playing LB, but he played along with the “starters” in Week 3 and had a full-time role until he was off the field in the fourth quarter. Although Long appeared in 58% of the snaps, Long was efficient and recorded a 22.2% tackle rate and had just one missed tackle.
Over the last two weeks, Long has produced a 16.3% tackle rate, resulting in 16 total tackles and a 10.2% solo tackle rate. There’s also big-play upside, as he’s had 10 pass rush snaps over the last two weeks and is generating a 30% pressure rate, resulting in a sack. With injuries piling up, he’ll be worth adding from the wire this week.
