Perfect Fantasy Draft: 10th in a 10-Team ESPN PPR League
Ten-team leagues offer drafters a real chance to pack their squad with many star players through the draft in a way that 12 and especially 14-team leagues do not afford. Even waiting until the very end of the draft, say the 10th pick, provides ample opportunities to put together a roster worthy of competing for a championship. And it is such a roster that I am here today to talk to you about.
In this article, I will walk through my favorite players in each round that should be available to me based on ESPN ADP and discuss my overall draft strategy from the No. 10 spot in a 10-team PPR league.

My Plan of Attack When Drafting From the 10-Spot
Roster Settings: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE), 1 Kicker, 1 DEF, 6 bench spots
It is important to remain flexible during your fantasy drafts, but here’s a general overview of how I’d like to build my roster from the No.10 spot:
- Wait on kickers and defense until the last two picks of the draft. This has always been my policy, and I don't envision it changing at any point.
- When looking at taking a running back, look for backs with a pass-catching pedigree, unless that player has a good chance of dominating backfield opportunities, especially goal-line work.
- Try to land a quarterback with a steady rushing profile, but don't reach for one. In a small league, don't pass up the chance to add studs to your roster at the skill position spots.
