The quarterback might be the most important position in football, but that’s not the case in fantasy football. Yes, it helps to have a stud to lead your squad at the position. However, with only one quarterback starting for each fantasy manager in a 12-team league, there are enough viable options to go around.
Most fantasy leagues start multiple running backs and wide receivers, which makes those positions more important to focus on early in drafts. Still, having someone like Josh Allen or Jalen Hurts can be a difference-maker for fantasy managers. The question is, how early should you draft them?
