Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 10: Exploit The Panthers Again
Geno Smith was the only quarterback to throw for at least 300 yards in Week 9. While passing yards might not have been easy to come by in many games, touchdowns weren’t a problem. There were 16 quarterbacks who threw at least two touchdown passes. Joe Burrow led the way with five passing touchdowns.
There will be four teams on a bye this week, including the Packers and Seahawks. That means that fantasy managers who roster Jordan Love or Smith will be in need of a streaming option.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 9 Recap
Our best performance from Week 9 came from Matthew Stafford, who finished as QB14. The Rams pulled out an overtime win over the Seahawks with Stafford throwing for 298 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. With Stafford now being rostered in 60% of Yahoo leagues, he is no longer eligible for this column.
The biggest disappointment of the week was Jameis Winston, who received his second start for the Browns. He threw for 235 yards and one touchdown, but his biggest problem was turnovers. After not throwing any interceptions versus the Ravens in Week 8, the Chargers picked off Winston three times.

Daniel Jones (Giants) at Panthers
The clock might be ticking on Jones’ tenure as the starting quarterback for the Giants. They lost again in Week 9, falling to 2-7 on the season. Jones had a strange first half against the Commanders in which he had a passing touchdown, but he had zero total passing yards. His overall stat line for the game was good, though, as he threw two passing touchdowns and added a rushing score.
The positive with Jones for fantasy is that he is often heavily used in the running game. He has five games this season with at least six carries. He’s an inconsistent fantasy option, but a matchup against the Panthers makes just about any quarterback a viable streaming option. The Panthers are ranked 30th in aFPA to quarterbacks. Even with Saints quarterback Derek Carr lacking weapons because of injuries last week, he finished as QB20 against them. Carr has virtually no rushing upside, so Jones has the potential to finish significantly higher this week.
