Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 12: Mile High Massacre
It usually feels like we have one great week for streaming and then a bad week for streaming defenses. Last week we felt great about it, and the results matched our expectations as all four of our picks finished as startable DST’s. So that means this is going to be a down week, right?
I’m not so sure! I think there is one standout play that is just a little past our criteria that I’m going to cheat to include and then two great options that are “deeper” options, but may have the two best matchups on the week.

Week 11 Review
It was a banner week for streaming defenses as all four teams were top-10 DST’s on the week including Houston (No. 1), Denver (No. 2), and Detroit (No. 4) all in the top 5. We won’t have weeks like this every week, but it never hurts when you have a home run week.
Overall, we’re at 31 hits and 10 misses this year.
Top Defensive Streaming Options for Week 12
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
Rostered in 63% of Yahoo leagues
In a middle-of-the-road matchup against Atlanta, the Broncos thrived and finished as DST2 on the week. Now they get a reeling Raiders team that outside of Brock Bowers is struggling overall. Plus, even if he doesn’t start, there’s a chance we could see Desmond Ridder and that would be a boon for the Denver defense.
The Raiders are 31st aFPA against opposing defenses so the matchup is fantastic for Denver. They’ve been a solid scoring DST even in mediocre matchups and they weren’t added a ton last week with the matchup against Atlanta. Take advantage if you’re dealing with bye-week hell and add the Denver DST.
