Jackson in Line for His 3rd MVP
Lamar Jackson is playing at an extremely high level once again and could potentially win his second straight MVP and third of his career. The electric quarterback is first in QBR (76.9) and tied for the NFL lead with 24 touchdown passes. He has tossed just 2 interceptions for the 7-3 Ravens who have a huge matchup with the first-place Steelers on Sunday. Jackson has also added 538 rushing yards and 2 scores on the year to show why he is one of the most dangerous players in all of football.

Can Josh Allen Take it Home?
Josh Allen has been doing it all for the 8-2 Bills as he has 17 touchdown passes along with 4 rushing touchdowns in 2024. He has thrown for 2,281 yards and is 5th in the NFL in QBR (70.3). Allen has been helping the Bills find ways to win and some would argue with a less talented supporting cast than what Jackson has in Baltimore. Regardless, both players have been great and Allen will get some recognition at the end of the season. A massive matchup with the Chiefs this week is a huge stage for Allen to show just how good he has been.
Patrick Mahomes Still Lurking Close By
The numbers aren't excellent (12 TD, 9 INT) but can you write off the quarterback on a 9-0 team? Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs keep finding ways to win and it looks like the QB is starting to hit his stride. In the last 2 weeks, Mahomes has 4 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions as the Chiefs picked up 2 more dramatic wins over the Bucs (30-24 OT) and the Broncos (16-14). If the Chiefs keep winning, it would not be surprising to see voters give him a look. The Chiefs have been winning in a lot of different ways this season including stellar defensive performances. If Mahomes gets hot, watch out.
