DFS Strategy for UFC Vegas 79
After a short hiatus. The UFC returns to the Apex for a Fight Night event. While Apex events can be a bit lackluster, this card should have some exciting fights. Multiple matchups on this card project to have finishes which should make for some fun options in building DFS lineups. Let’s take a look at the fighters to target for cash game lineups this week.
Premium Plays ($9000 and Above)
Jacob Malkoun $9500
Malkoun will be the top target amongst premium plays this week. Malkoun is a grinder and comes into every fight in shape. Malkoun has averaged 125 points in his wins and that is without getting a finish. That should change in this fight as Malkoun takes on Cody Brundage who has a reputation as a low output fighter that folds as soon as things get tough. Brundage, who should have probably been cut from the UFC after his most recent loss, has only landed 23 significant strikes across his last three fights. Brundage has the ability to look early but the story remains the same. Expect Malkoun to weather the storm early then dominate as Brundage fades.
