The Minnesota Vikings are adding WR Albert Wilson.

Word was Dede Westbrook was in for a visit as well, and it appears Wilson was the successor today. Wilson adds depth and some special teams potential, but not much else. Regardless, BERT ALERT!

In an offseason with change at wide receiver, the Kansas City Chiefs may have an under-the-radar signing working out so far this offseason.

WR Justin Watson signed with K.C. prior to the Tyreek Hill trade, but showed flashes during OTAs. “He’s been a pleasant surprise for me,” Mahomes said. “That dude can roll. He came down to Texas. I threw with him the first day, and I called (general manager Brett) Veach and I was like, ‘Wait, how fast is this guy?’ He was running so fast that I was late on my throws. He’s had two great days.”

Watson could not get on the field for offensive snaps in Tampa Bay, but finds himself going from the G.O.A.T. to a QB who is well on his way to challenging for that title. Unlike in Chicago or Atlanta where being a wideout gets you onto the field, competing in Kansas City is great for Watson's personal growth and worst-case, great audition film for his next team.

Watson has dynasty appeal for now, but with so much unknown in K.C., his fantasy value could skyrocket.

After recording zero catches his rookie season in Dallas, WR Simi Fehoko has spent the offseason in Dallas. He has spent time with Dak Prescott and feels he offers something that the WR room may lack due to offseason moves and injuries. "Being the bigger, taller and I guess heavier receiver to be able to have that blend of speed I feel like adding that with learning from the route runner from [Noah Brown] or CeeDee, I feel like it's only just going to get better," Fehoko said. "I feel like that is something I bring to the table."

"I ended up staying here and I was able to work with Dak a little bit through the offseason," Fehoko said. "It's been smooth for me just being able to deal with them and be here the whole offseason."

Fehoko has a leg-up on rookies such as Jalen Tolbert by being in the Cowboys system for a season, but if he wants to be irreplaceable he has to top players with higher draft capital (Tolbert) and force out veterans such as James Washington. Fehoko could be an intriguing dynasty player if his time in Dallas bares fruit.

The Cleveland Browns and TE David Njoku have agreed to a 4-year extension.

The new contract makes Njoku the fifth-highest paid tight end in the NFL. Not bad work if you can get it. This deal also signals that Njoku is the TE1 in Cleveland and will leaned on as the team adjusts with an essentially new passing group. Cleveland's confidence in Njoku gives his re-draft and dynasty stocks a boost.

Chiefs HC Andy Reid told reporters Thursday that WR Mecole Hardman is dealing with a 'tweaked hamstring.'

Hardman has an opportunity to be a starting wideout being the senior member of the Chiefs WR room based on time with the team. A speedster with a hammy injury is never good, but it coming in May makes it easier to handle and let rest.

Free agent RB Darrel Williams is signing with the Arizona Cardinals.

Williams was asked to do a lot in his time with the Chiefs and now has a chance to be the back-up behind James Conner. Conner's injury history makes Williams an intriguing late-round pick in redraft.

The Indianapolis Colts have signed RB Ty'Son Williams.

Williams had a chance to be a fantasy asset in Baltimore, but never could get over the hump with the team's coaching staff. He gets a chance to be a depth piece in Indy. He is off the fantasy radar unless injuries plague the Colts running back room.

The Seattle Seahawks have signed WR Marquise Goodwin.

Goodwin provides veteran depth but is a longshot to make the team, let alone contribute.

The Indianapolis Colts have signed QB Nick Foles to a two-year deal.

Not much to say beyond Foles being reunited with Frank Reich. He would be a useful QB2 in Superflex/Two-QB leagues should Matt Ryan go down. Foles' arrival also zaps any value Sam Ehlinger had in Dynasty formats.

The San Francisco 49ers are signing TE Tyler Kroft to a one-year deal.

Related Players: George Kittle, Charlie Woerner, Ross Dwelley

Kroft will compete for snaps alongside/behind George Kittle, which means a reduced role for the veteran. Kittle's injury history does put Kroft in play as a waiver wire pick-up during the season, and Kroft has had the most success amongst the remaining tight ends with the 49ers.

Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell addressed TE Irv Smith Jr.'s role heading into his first season leading the team. "I know there were a lot of folks excited about him last fall before that injury," O'Connell said. "He's going to be a major part of what we do."

O'Connell also added that the team has to be careful with his return from his knee injury.

It is hype season, but with Tyler Conklin in New Jersey and little competition for targets, Smith has a chance to (finally) take the step forward that was expected prior to injury in 2021.

The Indianapolis Colts have signed RB Phillip Lindsay.

Lindsay has an uphill battle to land a roster spot past this summer and will ultimately mean little in fantasy so long as Jonathan Taylor stays healthy.

WR Geronimo Allison has signed with the Atlanta Falcons. He spent the weekend on a tryout with the Falcons.

The Falcons are going to have to do trial by fire with the wideout position. Aside from Drake London and Kyle Pitts, it will be difficult to consider any other Falcons pass catcher.

The New Orleans Saints are signing WR Jarvis Landry.

Landry automatically slots inside with rookie WR Chris Olave opposite Michael Thomas in 3WR sets. Landry may not be the most dynamic WR but he is another trusted wideout that has the most recent NFL experience-talent combo on the Saints roster since Thomas sat out 2021.

The Atlanta Falcons have acquired WR Bryan Edwards and a 7th-round pick from the Las Vegas Raiders for a 5th-round pick.

Edwards will have an immediate chance to compete for snaps in three-wide sets. The only problem is it's with the Falcons. Edwards was teammates with Falcons QB Marcus Mariota in Oakland/Vegas.

The Chicago Bears have signed WRs Tajae Sharpe and Dante Pettis to one-year deals.

Remember how the Bears had 123082747 tight ends two years ago and were teased for it? Welcome to the wideout version. Move along.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler told reporters that he had hip surgery to go along with his procedure to repair his ACL. Hamler said his hip popped out when he landed awkwardly.

Two-for-one on major surgeries for Hamler. The good news is he is well into his recovery process, but his workload will be monitored even more closely once he is back in pads.

In Popper's post-draft look at the Chargers' depth chart, he notably listed rookie RB Isaiah Spiller ahead of incumbents Larry Rountree III and Joshua Kelley. "Finding a reliable backup behind Ekeler was a priority for general manager Tom Telesco and coach Brandon Staley this offseason, and they think they found that player in Spiller," wrote Popper.

Spiller has similar draft capital than Kelley (4th) and higher capital than Rountree (6th), and is arguably a better pass catcher than both heading into training camp. Spiller appears to be a dynasty player to target should Ekeler get hurt and has later-round value in redraft so long as he does not stumble out the gate.

Buccaneers QB coach Clyde Christensen told reporters that QB Kyle Trask is the developmental quarterback, making Blaine Gabbert the backup to Tom Brady. "It's more of a learning curve," said Christensen. "I don't see him competing with Gabbert this year."

At this point, Trask appears to be clinging to fantasy value in dynasty formats, especially if Gabbert stays with Tampa Bay as long as Tom Brady is around.

The Miami Dolphins and RB Sony Michel have agreed to a one-year, $2.1 million deal.

Miami is Baltimore south with the stable of running backs on the roster. Michel should be on the roster bubble with Edmonds signing during the offseason and Gaskin still hanging around.

RB Mike Davis is signing with the Baltimore Ravens. He was released by the Falcons last week.

The Ravens are once again doing their best to be a backfield you avoid. Sure, a few of these backs will be cut or not utilized but the idea of carrying a fistful of RBs on the roster that have NFL experience and success is frustrating.

Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins was suspended six games for violating the NFL’s Performance Enhancing Drug policy.

The acquisition of Hollywood Brown makes a lot more sense, although adding him was a strong decision regardless. Look for Brown, Moore, and Green to lead the team in three-wide sets with Zach Ertz also seeing an increase in targets to open the season.

The Falcons have released RB Mike Davis.

Davis could not replicate his 2020 season as Christian McCaffrey's injury replacement and will now be looking to compete for a roster spot elsewhere. Patterson and Williams stand to see the most work as of now with recently-drafted Allgeier new to the team.
