Adrian Peterson improving catching passes

Vikings coach Brad Childress said he sees improvement from Adrian Peterson in terms of pass blocking, route running and his comfort level catching passes out of the backfield. “He’s not a satisfied guy,” Childress said, “He’s not sitting back on his laurels, patting himself on the back. He wants to be well-rounded, he wants to be diversified. While he may be as good a running back as there is in the league, he wants to be great in all facets. You’ve got to give it to him from the standpoint of working on your weaknesses or your perceived weaknesses or getting better at something you can get better at.”
