Mike McCarthy said he's hoping Cowboys will get WR Brandin Cooks (knee) back this week.

Fantasy Impact:

Cooper Rush will get the start at QB again against the Commanders in Week 12. CeeDee Lamb led the way with 12 targets vs. the Texans, but it was Luke Schoonmaker, who took over after Jake Ferguson left with a concussion, who had 10 targets which was most behind Lamb. The addition of Cooks should help the Cowboys offense in what is a good matchup against the Commanders defense. For the fantasy world, Rush did end up throwing for 354 yards.

49ers QB Brock Purdy day to day with sore shoulder

49ers quarterback Brock Purdy injured his shoulder in the 20-17 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

Coach Kyle Shanahan told beat reporters that Purdy is day-to-day with shoulder soreness.

Fantasy Impact:

The 49ers will release their first practice report Wednesday so owners will want to keep a close look as the week progresses. Purdy rushed for 40 yards and a diving touchdown on five carries, and he took two sacks and four additional hits in the pocket, the story pointed out. The Niners play in the later window on Sunday at Green Bay.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb active for MNF

The Cowboys will have star receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is active. He popped up on the injury report Saturday with a back injury.

Lamb has 59 receptions for 681 yards and four touchdowns this season.

Fantasy Impact:

Owners will have to hope for the best with Cooper Rush at QB tonight. Last week Lamb was targeted 10 times, and that should hopefully continue tonight, but the Eagles held him to a line of 6-21-0.

WR Tyquan Thornton signs with Chiefs practice squad

Source: Former Patriots WR Tyquan Thornton is signing with the Chiefs practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

As Rapoport pointed out, it's a fresh start for the former second-round pick from the 2022 draft class who was waived Saturday. Any time the Chiefs make a move on offense it's worth note in terms of fantasy. That's not to say Thornton is going to step in and be a factor anytime soon, but he may be worth a stash in dynasty leagues if he happens to be on your wire.
