The Bengals already had quarterback concerns. Now they have to wait on the results of an MRI today to see if it’s a full-blown panic.
Via Paul Dehner of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Bengals backup A.J. McCarron said he was getting an MRI to determine the severity of a left wrist injury that happened on the overtime fumble that cost the Bengals the game.
“I hope not,” McCarron said, when asked if it would keep him out this week against the Ravens. “Going to wait until [Tuesday], but hopefully not.”
The Bengals still don’t know if starter Andy Dalton’s broken thumb will be healed in time for a potential first-round game, since they lost their best chance at a bye week Monday night. Keith Wenning is next up on the depth chart.
