Bears elevate Nathan Peterman to active roster

The Bears elevated QB Nathan Peterman from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Fantasy Impact:

This may just be an insurance policy with Justin Fields questionable with a shoulder injury. If Fields cannot go, Trevor Siemian will be the starter with Peterman as the backup. As of now, we have Siemian as our QB32.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
