Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. will not play Week 2 against Houston according to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. He has been recovering from ACL surgery last fall.

Fantasy Impact:

OBJ's absence gives life to Higgins and DPJ for at least one more week, although neither may produce a lot if the Browns score with established players such as Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, Jarvis Landry, and Austin Hooper.

Either he didn’t feel right or the Browns are just being cautious but Beckham will not play against the Chiefs. Get him out of your lineups.

The Browns are going to see how WR Odell Beckham Jr. feels during pregame warmups before making an official decision on his availability for today’s game against the Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter notes Beckham looked good in practice all week but did not take full reps and hasn’t had any contact all summer, so this will truly be a game-time decision. Which means we won’t know his official status until about 3:00 today, so be prepared to have some flexibility in your lineups.

Browns WR Odell Beckham (knee, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 1. The Browns said that they will update Beckham's status 90 minutes before kickoff. The Browns play in the afternoon round of games so owners may want to have a Plan B in place in case Beckham is truly questionable. Donovan Peoples-Jones would likely take his place in the lineup and he has reportedly had a great camp.

This may be more a formality than reality but make sure OBJ is active Sunday. If he is out, look for Donovan Peoples-Jones to start with Rashard Higgins slotting in as Cleveland's third receiver.
