Brady throws two TDs, gets sore shoulder

Tom Brady and Randy Moss appear to have their timing down: The Patriots' first-team offense failed to score a touchdown in the first two weeks of the preseason, but that all changed in the first half against the Redskins. Brady hooked up twice with Moss for touchdowns for the first time since the 2007 season. And after averaging just 2.2 yards per carry over the first two weeks, Laurence Maroney made a more productive start with seven carries for 19 yards and three receptions for 30 yards. While the first team came out to start the third quarter, Brady did not because he suffered what the team deemed a sore throwing shoulder -- the result of a hit from Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth.
