Browns plan to play WR Josh Gordon as much as possible

Hue Jackson says Browns hope to play Josh Gordon as much as possible. Gordon, reinstated on a conditional basis earlier this month, poised to play first regular season game in almost three years.

Fantasy Impact:

Looks like the Browns are going to work him in as quickly as possible. He'll be a risky fantasy play until he can show some consistent production and it's anyone's guess how long that could take. It's hard to envision him getting a full workload his first week back, but we should at least see a steady increase week-to-week.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
