Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin clears protocol

Via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Bucs coach Bruce Arians said that wide receiver Chris Godwin had cleared the concussion protocol, and would be available for Week 3 against the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact:

His return to the lineup is also welcome news for the Bucs coach, after watching the Bucs drop a number of passes in yesterday’s win over the Panthers. Arians said he counted at least seven drops, including three touchdowns, and probably 125 yards worth, the story said.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
