Cooper fantasy owners sure do hope the ball will find the hands of the Raiders WR more often than it has the past the past three weeks. After combing to catch 9 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks, Cooper has totaled 4 catches for 23 yards and 0 scores the past three weeks. He has not recorded more than 9 yards receiving in any of his past three games. A returning Derek Carr would improve his outlook.

Jack Del Rio reaffirmed today that he anticipates Derek Carr (back) will play Sunday vs. LA Chargers.

Carr was rumored to have a chance to play in Week 5 against the Raiders but was inactive. He gets a pretty good matchup against the Chargers this week.

This is the same injury as Tony Romo. Del Rio added that Carr will most likely miss this week, and a typical timetable is 2-6 weeks. This is a big hit to the Raider skill players who will likely get a downgrade in our Week 5 rankings and beyond as long as Carr is out of action.

Derek Carr surveyed his the pattern, and saw Raiders receivers covered well. The Pro Bowl quarterback tried to create space with his feet and tried to take off.

The Broncos didn’t let that happen. Shelby Harris knocked him off balance. Adam Gotsis finished him off, tackling him by the neck. It put tremendous strain on his back. And pulled him from the game.

“It should be something that cleans up quickly,” Del Rio said.

The story said Carr remains optimistic he'll be able to play Week 5 against Baltimore. X-rays were negative for structural damage. The QB tried to loosen his back but didn't feel comfortable enough to return, the story said.
