Pittsburgh Steelers backup quarterback Charlie Batch will reportedly miss up to six weeks because of a wrist injury that will require surgery.
Batch took over behind center in overtime of Sunday's 27-24 loss to Kansas City after starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left the contest following a blow to the head.
WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh cited a source as saying Batch needs the wrist procedure, although it is unclear as to when the veteran backup was hurt.
