Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told Dave Wyman on KIRO's morning show that RBs Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde will be game-time decisions against the San Francisco 49ers.

Carroll also said that Travis Homer will play, so the worst case scenario is the Seahawks are short their top two backs. Homer and Dallas will have value as members of the offensive juggernaut that is Seattle. The 49ers are also short many of their best defensive players in Week 8.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
