Colts TE Jack Doyle finally returns to practice

Colts tight end Jack Doyle, out since Week 3 with a hip injury, practiced Wednesday and Frank Reich didn't rule him out from playing at Oakland this weekend.

Fantasy Impact:

The phrase "cautious optimism" applies here. If Doyle comes out of practice OK and can play this week, it wouldn't be surprising to see him take a back seat to Eric Ebron, who has been effective in his absence. Let's see how the rest of the week goes and hope Mr. Doyle is really on the comeback.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
