Cowboys: Roy Williams Injury A Shoulder Contusion

Results of last night’s X-ray examination of Roy Williams’ shoulder revealed no fracture to the wide receiver’s left shoulder. He will continue to be treated for a shoulder contusion and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.

"Contusion" is simply another way of saying bruised shoulder.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.
