Lions quarterback Daunte Culpepper took the majority of snaps with the first-string offense, but coach Jim Schwartz likely will not announce his starter until Sunday.
Lions safety Louis Delmas returned to practice but linebacker Larry Foote, who has a foot injury, was not present in the early portion of practice open to reporters.
Foote has not practiced this week and his absence could mean that rookie DeAndre Levy will get his second straight start at middle linebacker in Sunday's season finale against Chicago. He led the team with eight tackles in his middle-linebacker debut Sunday at San Francisco.
Delmas (ankle) had not practiced the past two days.
