Dolphins remain banged up at WR

Dolphins coach Brian Flores said on Tuesday that veteran wide receiver Allen Hurns will eventually be placed on injured reserve after a Monday report that he will likely miss three months with wrist surgery. This comes as Miami has had Will Fuller out since the first practice of training camp, been without DeVante Parker for more practices than he’s participated in, had Albert Wilson miss the past week-plus and Preston Williams on the physically-unable-to-perform list since the start of camp.

“We’ll see about [Wednesday]. They’re day to day. They’re all working to get back,” Flores said. “Those become pretty competitive practices, very competitive practices. With guys who have been out, you kind of want to ease them back, so if they are back, I wouldn’t expect too much out of them. But getting closer, I would say.”

Fantasy Impact:

The story went on to say Parker, Fuller, Wilson and Williams continued to sit out Tuesday, which was a lighter walkthrough session before the Dolphins welcome the Atlanta Falcons for joint practices on Wednesday and Thursday. With the slew of top wideouts missing, the Dolphins started Waddle with Hollins in Week 1 of the preseason. Bowden ended up leading wide receivers later in the game with four receptions for 47 yards.
