Despite having five touchdown catches already, Dolphins WR Mike Wallace hasn't cracked 100 yards yet this season and has had fewer than 60 yards in three of his last four games, which prompted him to say this on Tuesday, on the heels of another dismal offensive performance against Jacksonville:
"We didn't do nothing," Wallace told reporters. "Our offense was (expletive). We've got to do better."
According to The Miami Herald, Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has hit on just seven passes of 20 yards or more this season. He's attempted more than 20.
"That's what I do; I'm built for that," Wallace said, continuing to show some visible signs of frustration.
This is a change of tone from the preseason, when Wallace spoke in glowing terms about Bill Lazor's offense. He and Ryan Tannehill continue to struggle to hook up on deep passes.
