Still nothing concrete yet, but Chandler would be a fringe RB2/3 if Jones ends up missing Week 7. Otherwise, it'll be Jones there, with Chandler not logging quite enough usage to be fantasy-relevant.

The Viking claimed RB Gallman off waivers in another move. Gallman likely at least slides in behind Cook and Nwangwu. Cook was dominant last week coming back from a shoulder injury but has dealt with his share of injuries this year and in his career, so his handcuff any given week is always worth noting.

Worth noting fullback C.J. Ham has been the Vikings' lone third-down back for starting offense in limited preseason reps.

Cook will be a three-down back, but they need a reliable third-down option, the tweet went on to say. That could be Ham, especially if the rookie Mattison isn't up to speed by the time the season starts.
