HOU: Schaub "better today"

Texans QB Matt Schaub continues to undergo treatment on his sprained left ankle, an injury he suffered running for a first down against Minnesota. Schaub, receiver Kevin Walter (hamstring) and free safety Eugene Wilson (knee) are the injured players the coaches are keeping a close eye on.
“He’s better today,” Kubiak said about Schaub. “I think he’s doing a little work on the field right now. ... He, Kevin and Eugene have all made progress.”

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
