According to Kyle Meinke on Twitter, Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay suffered a hamstring injury during Wednesday’s practice. He noted that the injury was thought to be minor enough that he was expected to take part in practice. Golladay would ultimately end up missing practice.
While the minor tag eases some concerns heading into the weekend, hamstring injuries are never something to be taken lightly. This will be a situation to monitor as the missed practice casts doubt on his availability for the Lions Week 1 contest against the Chicago Bears. Be sure to check back tomorrow for confirmation on whether or not he was able to get in a limited practice session. Golladay is currently our number seven ranked receiver for Week 1.
