Lions not optimistic about QB Matthew Stafford (ribs) in Week 15

Lions QB Matthew Stafford suffered a rib cartilage injury, per source. Team not overly optimistic he can play vs. the Titans.

Fantasy Impact:

Stafford, of course, has played through a lot of injuries in his career so the team is not closing the door, but with the season lost there isn't much of a reason to put an injury Stafford on the field. Daniel would get the start if Stafford can't go. Owners should probably start thinking of a backup plan.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
