Lions RB Dwayne Washington suffered a sprained ankle and foot in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chicago Bears, but the rookie running back is hopeful he won't miss any time with his injuries.
Washington left midway through Sunday's second quarter after he had a 5-yard run called back by a holding penalty and was limping noticeably in the locker room after the game.

Zach Zenner replaced him as the Lions' No. 2 running back in the second half. If Washington can't play this Sunday against the Eagles, Theo Riddick and Zenner should carry a bulk of the load. On Monday, the Lions signed running back Mike James to their practice squad and released running back George Winn.
