Lions release RB C.J. Anderson, sign RB Paul Perkins

C.J. Anderson's time in Detroit is over. The Lions announced Tuesday they released the veteran running back and picked up former Giants RB Paul Perkins from waivers.

Fantasy Impact:

Perkins will now backup Johnson with the release of Anderson. Anderson was impressive during his time last year with the Rams, but lost playing time in Week 2 with the Lions.
