McNabb now wants Eagles to get Burress

As it turns out, Mike Vick wasn't the only NFL wayward soul whom Eagles quarterback Donovan Mcnabb (supposedly) wanted to bring to Philly.

McNabb also said during a Monday press conference that he has suggested pursuing receiver Plaxico Burress.

"I don't think it would hurt," McNabb said.

Burress currently is a free agent, but he reportedly will face a stiff suspension if/when a team signs him.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
